GLP-1 Drugs Don't Make the Grade
I wasn't going to do this post. I didn't want to talk about the Pharmamachine or its unethical influence in Medicine.
But I felt compelled. To protect those willing to listen. To challenge others to look closer and ask more questions.
The facts
- All of the studies reported a calorie intake of 800 calories focused on WHOLE FOODS.
- They DID NOT allow processed carbohydrates, grains, sugar, or snacking
- They required 12-14 hours of fasting.
- All of the studies reported that 50% of subjects had Nausea, Vomiting and Diarrhea.
- In people not on medications, we label the use of vomiting and laxatives a form of an eating disorder, so why is this "okay" in the studies? In real life?
- This is NOT FAT LOSS. it is literally water weight and messes up the balance of electrolytes in the body.
- It's causing anorexia: not wanting to eat due to nausea...
- The France Study that included 3.67 Million people showed that 4% developed thyroid cancer when compared to the placebo. Because CANCER is Obviously allowable... (2)
- Long Term, there are KNOWN factors that support calorie intake between 1200-1500 kcal and suggest that 800 kcal beyond 6 weeks is detrimental to LONG TERM HEALTH (3) (4) (5) as it reduces intake of required micronutrients.
- Long term very low calorie diets were also shown to slow the metabolism significantly
The Reported side effects
- Biliary and gallbladder dysfunction/disease (1)
- Gastroparesis
- Thyroid Cancer (5% affected)
- Permanent ruin of metabolic hormones
- Nausea/Vomiting/Diarrhea (more than 50% affected)
- Increased Resting Heart Rate
- Dizziness
- Headaches
- Increased Risk for Infections.
- Acute pancreatitis and Pancreatic Cancer (2%)
Side Effects I've been contacted about: Debilitating joint pain, muscle pain and Rhabdomyolysis.
My programs focus on Resetting metabolism without drugs that destroy your health.
