A Body on Fire: Part 1

I have a unique set of skills that allow me to help people on their health and wellness journey. The problem: they have usually been indoctrinated by Western Medicine standard of ‐there is a pill for that‐. If not that, ‐Your blood work looks fine, You are fine, Your symptoms mean nothing.‐

They forget what it feels like to BE HEALTHY. To Feel GOOD.

They make excuses, because everybody elese is, so they might as well.

This leads to a Body On Fire.

When the body is in this much crisis, it has trouble doing anything else.

In order to achieve

  • Healthy skin
  • Healthy hair
  • Healthy weight
  • Healthy nails
  • Healthy sleep
  • Healthy mindset
  • Healthy bowel movements that happen 2x/day
  • Healthy hormones

You must first acknowledge that the body is in crisis. Then, You have to acknowledge Your part in it. What have YOU done to help or harm the body that you have been graciously given to walk this earth?

Some basic things that you will be told, that are NOT true:

  • If your TSH is normal, the thyroid is fine. If the CBC is normal then you are fine.
  • Pre-diabetes always leads to diabetes.
  • Diabetes is not curable.
  • Uterine Fibroids are Normal and Common.
  • Heavy periods are just some people's Plight.
  • Hormonal Acne is Normal and should be treated with drugs.
  • Birth control is 100% safe and Effective.
  • Autoimmune disease is always genetic.

What to know when you go in for your appointment.

  1. TSH is a measure of Pituitary not Thyroid
  2. T3 and T4 should be measured and be in the middle range, not the low end or high end
  3. TPOa and TGBa should be run to rule out autoimmune
  4. anti-nuclear antibodies; gastric parietal cell antibodies, mitochondrial antibodies, liver-kidney microsomal and smooth muscle antibodies should be done even if the ‐blood work is normal‐
  5. A stool test, Mycotoxin test, and organic acids test should be done
  6. If You’ve ever been hiking or camping, or live west of Illinois Lyme should be tested by Antibody-based tests (ELISA, IFA, Western blot, Immunoblot)
  7. You should have a test for heavy metals
  8. You should have a test for 25-oh D3, Iodine, Selenium, Magnesium and B vitamins
  9. A Full Hormone panel of Estrogen and Testosterone should be done
  10. You should get a fasting insulin test done.
  11. You have the right to write a letter and have that included in your medical file

Most Doctors don’t know what to do with the information so they won’t order it. Ask anyway. Insist. If you think insurance is your only option, call around to a couple labs and see if they have a cash rate. Look at the Hormone Clinics. Ask if they do labs in-house and if they have a lower rate.

For instance, if I get the first 3 tests and number 8, My insurance co pay is $978. The hormone clinic near my house charges $178. I can get a full sex hormone panel done for $73

No one but you lives in your body. If you think something is ‐off‐ it probably is. Fight like hell to get it recognized and treated. But I’ll warn you, Treatment probably starts with YOU and your ENVIRONMENT. Not a Pill, Injections, or fad diets. We do WHOLE FOODS. Specific eating patterns and Light exercise. Because we are trying to HEAL not Diet ourselves thin
